Empowering civil society to build a better future
Our non-profit/non-governmental organization helps empower Syrian civil society to achieve democratic transition by:
Establishing Neutral Spaces
Disseminating Knowledge
Awarding Grants
Promoting Transparency
Advocacy
We promote public participation, accountability and empowerment to strengthen civil society’s ability to act as a force for democratic change to achieve:
A participatory approach that is open and inclusive;
Active citizenship, with all citizens having equal rights and duties regardless of religious, ethnic, or sexual identity, or political affiliation;
Social justice in an egalitarian, merit-based society;
Social responsibility where all are responsible, specifically towards vulnerable social groups;
Freedom, dignity, and justice, the core values of the Syrian uprising.
We are working for an active Syrian civil society that fosters knowledge development; promotes active citizenship; practices democracy; defends, preserves, and channels citizens’ rights and interests; and develops a common set of values for all.
